Operating in the UK since 1987, Center Parcs has extensive experience in the UK short break market. They offer families the chance to escape daily stresses in beautiful woodland settings, with a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, award-winning spa facilities, restaurants, retail outlets and, at the heart of each village, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.
This project involved the construction of 34 No. new timber frame lodges, consisting of 14 No. two-bed executive lodges, 7 No. three-bed executive lodges, 12 No. three-bed executive lodges offering a hot tub experience and 1 No. six-bed single storey lodge.
Also included was the demolition of the existing arrivals lodge to make way for 120 additional parking spaces, adjacent the existing main car park and a new 10 bay arrivals lodge building which is to be erected as part of the scheme located to the north east of the main car park.

The interface with the 5,000 to 6,000 guests who occupy the park at any one time was paramount. Regular meetings were held with the park’s management team. Delivery of materials had to be timed to avoid Mondays and Fridays, which are the busiest days on the park. There were numerous work phases ongoing at the same time which needed additional site supervision, which we provided.
