Particularly challenging site in regard to access on the retaining wall side due to the steepness of the adjacent field
Failed area cleaned out and mass filled with concrete
Remaining stone wall was clad with mesh reinforcement and concrete
Rock anchors were drilled through the new concrete cladding and eventually into the bedrock. Anchors were required to be a minimum of 6m into the rock.Total length of each anchor was 12m
Upon completion of the anchors the whole site was reclad with local stone
